Michael explained different styles of stop motion to begin this week lecturer, alot styles to learn and use for our assignment. He teaches us the principal of stopmotion, firstly we must have a camera (any types) and we just do what we want to do with sources we have and move around with it,just take a picture everytime we make a slighty changes of the object. After that, we combine the pictures using softwares (After effects, Flash, or any kind of video editing software) and play it. It will automatically become a kind of animation which created by ourself.
We have given our task of our assignments which is brainstorming for ideas for our stopmotion. Michael divided the classes into groups which have interest in same material or style. Before the class dismiss, we are given this task to write down our idea and present that idea to him in next lesson, we will have to come up with something interesing and choose the right component for background and foreground.
